During this past summer, I enrolled in a few courses. I ended up having to drop one of the courses because I did not have the time to devote to it. I was also teaching in summer school and had travel plans for the summer.

When I returned from my summer vacation, I delved right into my schoolwork and stayed up late many nights in order to complete the assignments. The course was set up in such a way that in order to move on to the next module, you must complete all the assignments.
I remember one night I had a dinner date. Although I probably should have stayed home and completed my final paper before the 12 a.m. deadline, I decided to take a break from my work, go out for dinner and then head back home to finish my paper.
As I watched the time progressing to midnight, I prayed, “Lord, please don’t let it be a strict deadline. Please let me able to still submit my paper although it’s after midnight.”
At 12:15 a.m., I completed my paper and submitted it online.
“Thank you, Lord! My paper has been accepted!”
A few days after submitting my paper, I received an email from my professor. She thanked me for my participation in the class, informed me of my grade on the paper and then wished me all the best for the upcoming school year as a teacher.
This week, I received my transcript. The results were in.

Imagine my surprise when I saw my grade.
F
“Oh no! This can’t be right!”
“I submitted all my assignments!”
I immediately reviewed all my emails from my professors.
“…100% on Module 2 C heck Point.”

“…100% on Module 3 Check Point.”
“…100% on the final paper.”
“Class average, 100%”
I emailed my professor and told her about the error.
I also contacted the office and informed them about my situation.
In the end, they realized that it was a glitch in the computer system and my grade was changed to an A.
Why did I share this?
Because sometimes the results from your medical examination may come in showing unfavorable results.
You might receive a bank statement with negative results and you have to go back to where it is written.
You may have to remind yourself of the work that Christ did on your behalf and what it means to be ‘In Him’.
I want to encourage you today to go back to where “It is written”. Go back to where the promises have been made and declare them over your lives.
Just as how I plead my case concerning my grade, and I stated where the professor told me what my final grade is, declare Psalm 103 over your life.
Declare Isaiah 53:5
Declare Philippians 4:19
Don’t settle for negative results when Christ came so that you might have life and have it more abundantly.
The results are in and you win!
